Aspen, CO for years has attracted celebrities, CEO’s, movie stars, high achievers of all fashions and ski bums to her slopes and city for over 100 years.
It is one of the most sought after areas to get married in the nation and in the fall the views are absolutely spectacular.
I was hired by a local Aspen family to photograph their daughters fall wedding celebration at Aspen’s legendary restaurant, the Pine Creek Cook House, which is nestled at the base of the Elk Mountains. The Aspen’s where shedding their vast palette of colors upon our head that day as we reveled in at the sight of Cathedral Peak above the ceremony site. Jason Burns, did such an amazing job coordinating and planning this event. He is one of the best coordinators I have had the opportunity to work with in the past fifteen years of wedding photography. The getting ready photos happened at the Hotel Jerome, one of the cities finest historical establishments. Fall weddings in Colorado are always deliver stunning images and these moments where captured in my composition. do. However when I do photograph a wedding in Yosemite, CA, Jackson, WY, or other trees and seas I don’t complain at all.
