Yosemite is always awesome and one of the best places on earth I could suggest getting married at. Lisa and Tommy had been planning on getting married for some time, but decided supper last minute that they wanted to elope while on their family vacation staying at the Tenaya Lodge. Tenaya lodge is conveniently located one mile outside Yosemite National Park. Tenaya Lodge is so beautiful and their staff makes me feel so welcomed when I stay there. Lisa the bride, called Addy Rose Weddings to do all her wedding planning. Roshel is probably the most respected and connected wedding coordinator in the Yosemite area. She is really fun, hard working and good at bringing together professional vendors. To my surprise she when I asked her who make the pretty floral arrangements she said she does this too! Donny, the officiate of the day, is the best. If you need a Yosemite Wedding Officiate Donny is a long time local, professional and just such a pleasure to be around.
The intimate ceremony happened next to the Merced River near The Majestic Hotel. After the ceremony we used some of the surrounding nooks and vistas to get some stylized portraits before heading to a near by meadow to obtain a great vista of Half Dome to finish their photography at sunset.
