As an Aspen wedding photographer, I can attest that this is a great job to have. What could be more fun than capturing a couple’s special day surrounded by the natural beauty of Colorado? An Aspen wedding is always a good idea, and the impressive local area abounds with world-class athletes, stunning vistas and impressive resorts where you can relax after a day spent adventuring in nature.
There are many excellent spots for a mountain wedding, but as an experienced Aspen wedding photographer, my favorite location is probably the Maroon Bells, twin mountain peaks enhanced by the beauty of a reflective natural lake. The Elk Mountain range is a rugged and beautiful spot for a wedding. When couples contact me to explore locations for their Aspen wedding, I also often suggest taking a day trip out to Marble, Colorado, or perhaps to one of the nearby mountain passes, which offer seemingly endless mountain views.
